ABOUT US
Be part of our story.
Inspired by the journey of her own child, Southside ABA is the realized dream of a mom with a passion for helping children with developmental differences. In 2014, Southside ABA began delivering behavioral intervention in community and home settings in Fayette and Coweta counties. With the support of Atlanta Legal Aid, in 2017, Medicaid collaborated with Southside ABA to grant the first single case agreement for intensive behavioral intervention in the state of Georgia. This was the catalyst for statewide Medicaid coverage for intensive behavioral intervention in 2018. In 2019, the demand for a dedicated clinic delivering environmentally controlled treatment, social skills groups, and life skills opportunities was met with the launch of our Tyrone location. In 2020, our clinic was revamped during a weekend to meet CDC regulations and continue uninterrupted services to our clients, as appropriate, during a period of great uncertainty. We were awarded a Red Backpack Fund grant to cover ABA related bills for our existing families who lost insurance coverage, lost income, or were struggling due to unprecedented circumstances. We are so grateful that our families could have one less burden thanks to Sara Blakely, Spanx, and Global Giving. While Southside ABA continues to prioritize quality of care for our clients and quality of life for our families, we remain focused on retaining qualified clinical staff and offering meaningful services to those entrusted to our care. Every single day, we have the privilege of working with our heroes. It is our clients who make Southside ABA a wonderful place. They teach us every day that anything is possible. We rejoice in their accomplishments, great and small. The journey of one child can change the world or change a heart. We have had the honor of sharing in many of those stories. And we'd love for you to be part of our story.
